Photography Tips for Big Head Signs

Shoot on a contrasting background.  If the models are wearing dark clothing use a light colored, solid background.

Set up a rectangle with tape with dimensions that match the max area of your sign and have your models move until their head fills either the height or the width of the rectangle.

Keep the camera steady – we can’t “unblurry” photos.

Don’t use your flash!  If it’s dark enough for your camera’s flash turn some lights on or go someplace else.

DIY Handle Ideas

We used “TOP MEN” to develop the perfect stick for our big Heads on a Stick but you don’t have to use them.  Heck, you could just glue a cabinet knobs on the back or affix that spare pop socket you keep finding in the junk drawer.  Share your tips on our contact page.
